CJCA Captain James Cook Award

In recognition of international two-way FT8 amateur radio communication, the FT8 Digital Mode Club (FT8DMC) issues the Captain James Cook Award certificates to amateur radio stations of the world. Qualification for the FT8 CJC award is based on an examination by the FT8 CJC Award Manager, from QSOs that the applicant has made contacts with amateur radio stations from the following Classes. Sailor Class, one QSO from G, FO, ZL2, VK2 & KH6 Officer Class, requires all Sailor Class plus ZL1, ZL3, ZL4, VK3, VK4 & P2 Commander Class, all Officer Class plus VE2, VO, FK8 & KL7 Admiral Class, all Commander Class plus YJ8, CE8 and any Antarctica station All contacts must be made from the same country.
